La mostra è allestita dal 16 al 30 maggio 2025 con inaugurazione il 17 maggio presso la Fondazione Palmieri nel centro storico di Lecce.
Una mostra che esplora il rapporto tra arte, grafica e mondo editoriale, indagando nello specifico la dimensione fisica e materiale del libro d’artista e non solo. Tanti i generi artistici che si articolano in questa mostra: dagli ex libris contemporanei ai libri d’artista, dalla poesia visiva alle poesie animate, dai manifesti illustrati di una sola pagina alle installazioni tridimensionali, e così via.
La mostra traccia una possibile storia di come approcci radicali al libro abbiano portato a diverse soluzioni grafiche che sovvertono, inventano, invertono e celebrano le lettere, le parole, i testi e le forme di una pubblicazione. Il libro è stato e continua a essere un oggetto di sperimentazione, un modo per resistere ai vincoli del mercato e creare uno spazio di libertà in cui rifugiarsi.[:en]POP UP EVOLUTION

The exhibition is set up from 16 to 30 May 2025 with the inauguration on 17 May at the Palmieri Foundation in the old city of Lecce, Italy.
An exhibition that explores the relationship between art, graphic design and the publishing world, specifically investigating the physical and material dimensions of the artist’s book and beyond. So many artistic genres articulate this exhibition: from contemporary ex libris to artists’ books, from visual poetry to animated poems, from single-page illustrated posters to three-dimensional installations, and so on.
The exhibition traces a possible history of how radical approaches to the book have led to different graphic solutions that subvert, invent, reverse and celebrate the letters, words, texts and forms of a publication. The book thus has been and continues to be an object of experimentation, a way to resist the constraints of the market and create a space of freedom in which to take refuge.[:]
